Privacy: calculations, analytics and cookies
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. The site also loads Google Analytics and is delivered through Cloudflare, so local calculation does not mean that visiting a page generates no external requests.
Calculator inputs and files
The current calculator keeps prices, costs, rates and scenario dates in the current page's memory. It does not send those fields to a calculation endpoint, store a scenario in an account, or offer CSV/Excel uploads. Reset restores example values; reloading starts a new scenario. The application does not add entered costs or calculated profit to custom analytics events.
Google Analytics is enabled
We measure calculator starts, valid result views after at least half the result is visible for one second, successful result copies and related-tool clicks. Custom event fields are limited to tool, language, market and page type; they exclude prices, costs, profit and copied text. Copying writes the summary to your device clipboard only after your click. Starts and result views are counted once per page visit, and prefilled examples alone do not count as use.
Pages load the Google tag for GA4 property G-R7J73QGN48. It can process page views, browser/device and referral information and use analytics cookies according to the configured service and your browser settings. This should not be described as no tracking or guaranteed anonymity. We do not specify an unverified retention period here.
Language preference storage
Choosing a language saves tokmargin_locale in a cookie and, when available, localStorage. The cookie lasts up to one year and uses SameSite=Lax; on HTTPS the browser and the language redirect both set Secure. The server reads the cookie to select your language. The current application writes a localStorage copy but does not read it back.
Clearing cookies removes the preference used by the server, but does not necessarily delete localStorage. That copy has no automatic expiry; clear the site's local storage or all site data to remove it too. Without a language cookie, the homepage may choose a version using your browser language.
Hosting and request data
Cloudflare handles requests needed to serve and protect the website. Request and security information may be processed by the hosting platform, separately from the calculator's local state. This page does not claim that hosting logs contain no personal data or that they have a particular retention period.
Your browser controls and external links
You can review, block or clear site cookies using browser settings. Blocking analytics does not change the local arithmetic; blocking all JavaScript prevents the interactive calculator from working. Official policy and tax links open third-party websites whose own privacy practices apply. TokMargin has no TikTok account connection and does not ask for your seller credentials.
